Summary
Travel with us to a side of Katong you’ve never seen before, one that’s filled with food, music, poetry and songs.
This is a unique performance art tour, that brings live musical theatre onto the streets of Katong Joo Chiat. This walking tour explores our heritage neighbourhood, its contemporary history and the intangible cultural heritage of the Peranakans.
In collaboration with 5 artists and made possible with STB-NAC Performing Arts Tours Pilot Grant in 2022; an initiative by the Singapore Tourism Board and National Arts Council
Highlights
The show features live performances of original works: songs, dance, poetry, music and storytelling.

Advisory Light tropical clothing is recommended with comfortable walking shoes. Weather is not always sunny, please bring along an umbrella in case it rains. Please ensure sufficient personal insurance cover during tour.
Accessibility & Fitness Minimum medium fitness level recommended due to brisk walking pace. Total walking distance is about 2km on flat grounds (with lots of breaks in between) but there may be some staircases during journey.
