Hunting Auroras & winter landscapes in Norway. Workshop/photography trip.
Winter landscapes & Aurora Borealis - 22 February till 4 March 2025
Day 1. Sun 22Feb
Singapore - Oslo - Tromsø
Search for the Northern Lights.
International flight to Oslo with connection to Tromsø.
Arrive at Tromso in the afternoon. Drive till Sommarøy Island,Check-in to the hotel. On the first night if the weather is good, we will go out for the first photographic experiences, it will be our first Aurora hunting, around Sommarøy area. Stay then night in Sommarøy
Day 2. Mon 23 Feb
Sommarøy
Full day in Sommarøy, photography and local visits. If stars are aligned at night, we have the possibility to photography Auroras again. We will be hunting for it, depending on weather.
Day 3. Tue 24 Feb
Sommarrøy
Full day in Sommarøy, photography and local visits. We will be visiting a local farm with beautiful Horses for a photography season, and also a ship wreck near the area for sunset. If stars are aligned at night, we have the possibility to photography Auroras again. We will be hunting for it, depending on weather.
Day 4. Wed 25 Feb
Sommarøy/Senja
After breakfast, we will route to the island of Senja, a long journey of landscapes and photographic opportunities. Being on the island early, we will get to confirm some of the locations we want to capture the auroras during the night outing. This might be a long day for us. We will move as much as the weather allows us, taking advantage of the magnificent natural spaces and their surroundings. Staying the night at Senja.
Days 5,6 & 7 - Thu 26, Fri 27 & Sat 28 Feb
Senja
Full focus on photography of the northern lights in the area. During the day, we will be exploring, confirming locations for the night and photographing interesting areas in landscape and fauna, especially reindeer. It is not for nothing that Senja has been called “Norway in miniature”, as the diversity of landscapes on the island, which is the second largest in the area, reflects and sums up the nature of Norway. Once again, we will move as much as the weather allows us, taking advantage of the magnificent natural spaces and their surroundings.
Day 8. Sun 1 Mar
Senja/Tromsø
This day we will undo the path that has brought us closer to this little Nordic paradise. After breakfast we will set off towards Tromsø and discover its surroundings.
Day 9. Mon 2 Mar
Tromsø
Full day in Torso, photography and local visits. If stars are aligned at night, we have the possibility to photography Auroras again. We will be hunting for it, depending on weather.
Day 10. Tue 3 Mar
Tromsø/Singapore.
After breakfast, transfer to the Airport. Return home.
Day 11. Wed 4 Mar
Arrive at Singapore.
Price per person based on group travel of max 7pax + 2 master photographers. 10 days.

Conveyances
- 3 nights on a Bungalow 9 pax or similar in Sommarøy,
- 4 nights a Bungalow 9 pax or similar in Senja
- 2 nights in a double room in Tromsø.
- Transport in 8 seater minivan (Mercedes Sprinter type) hunting for Auroras every night depending on the weather.
